The Director's Residence

Then and now

This is the residence built for Managing Director Worm H. Lund, a man crucial to the development of modern mining in Folldal in the early 20th century. The house was built in 1910, and the standards stand in stark contrast to the workers' dwellings nearby. A swimming pool and a tennis court were among the amenities. The tennis court is still intact and at the guests’ disposal. The house has 8 rooms, sleeping up to 14 people.

It is possible to rent the 1st. floor for banquets or other events. The elegant dining room seats up to 35 people, and access to the cosy living room and library is included. Requests are received by email: post@folldalgruver.no.

Accomodation rates include breakfast, which is normally served in the café from 0900 to 1100.
